In the last year, Zoom has become a part of many lives, both professionally and personally. Most have quickly learned how to master the in-built features of the now ubiquitous video teleconferencing software, but there is a lot of scope to add on functionality through partners and third-party devs. One particular area that is vital for expanding Zoom functionality, particularly for corporations, is the addition of chatbots for video.

In this session, we’ll explore a new tool for this very purpose—the CoCoHub platform. It allows you to develop virtual human-esque chatbots that speak with you face-to-face on your Zoom call! We’ll show you how to use their easy-to-use REST-based online platform and navigate various components to set up proper dialog flows. Further, we’ll demonstrate how you can programmatically expand the response range with external APIs.
