The Dramatic Change in Kroy Biermann as His Divorce from Kim Zolciak Continues
Reality TV star and Kim Zolciak's husband Kroy Biermann recently debuted a radical new style, ditching his trademark blond hair and clean-shaven demeanor. After going through a rough divorce from Kim Zolciak, the ex-NFL player chose to go for a more gruff and mature look this fall by dying his hair brown and growing out his beard. Fans and bystanders alike did a double take at Biermann's drastic makeover because he barely resembled his former self.
Biermann was spotted on this special occasion bonding with his four young children, KJ, Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane. His wedding ring, which he had always worn during his marriage to Kim Zolciak, was conspicuously absent from this photo. The 38-year-old former athlete and his estranged wife, Kim, are locked in a heated custody dispute.
In August, after reconciling briefly with Kim Zolciak, Biermann decided to file for divorce for a second time. There have been a number of court skirmishes over this new development, with each side making different claims and taking different stances. In an effort to save her marriage, Zolciak brought up the fact that she and her husband had resumed sexual activity.
But Biermann was adamant about moving forward with the divorce, arguing that having sex does not automatically indicate a desire to reconcile. The future of their marriage and family dynamics is uncertain as a result of this prolonged legal dispute.
The approaching foreclosure of their $3 million Georgia mansion, scheduled for November, has further added to the complexity of the situation. Biermann said that Zolciak was purposefully trying to drag out the divorce so she could keep their joint property from being sold. He thinks that if they could just sell the house quickly, they'd have enough money to buy two new homes and create a healthier environment for their kids.
As seen on series like "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Don't Be Tardy," which helped launch the careers of both of them, the Biermanns got hitched for the first time in November 2011. But their marriage has been through a roller coaster of emotions and legal proceedings due to the many obstacles they've had to overcome.
