Green Dot In Status Bar On Samsung / Android Phones Explained | What It Means
When you're using your Android phone, you might have come across a green dot icon that appears on the status bar on your phone. For some phones, the dot might appear in the upper right corner while for others on the upper left corner. This green dot was introduced in the Android 12 update.
The green dot indicates that your in-built microphone is in use. It can also mean that the camera application is opened and in use. There's no need to panic if you come across these green dot icon while using your phone.
