AMD Ryzen 5000 ( Zen 3 ) 2 DIMM vs 4 DIMM Configuration Setup Test and Findings
This video is a last minute addition to the TO DO LIST of mine simply because Gamers Nexus claimed to have discovered new behavior in the Zen 3 regarding memory configuration. At 8:34 of that video ( • AMD Ryzen: 4 vs. 2 Sticks of RAM on R... ) Steve said after showing the performance chart "It's entirely to do with Zen 3's new memory behaviors."
With that I put the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X to the test with 2 DIMM vs 4 DIMM configuration.
