Been wanting to upgrade my work rig from AM4 to AM5, it is an overall system upgrade though I'm downgrading my core count from 12c/24t to 6c/12t.

The ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi is a really nice board, details at https://pg.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B650E%20... and the only thing I didn't like was the fan noise, I'd rather run it at passive than active because it's noisy, or I could actually run it at lowest RPM but then there's really no need to have the cooling being active.

And now that I'm running passive, the fan cable is just hanging around some place so I had to find a way to stash it.

One thing I miss out in the video is the RESET CMOS jumper, yet again it's located right beside the PCIE slot. YET AGAIN because this is not the first time, in fact it's the 3rd time I see it in this position and it makes it awfully difficult to clear CMOS, considering ITX boards are used in compact systems! (stating the obvious). You might be asking, what were the other 2? It's the Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac and the B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax. The B650E PG-ITX WiFi strays from the naming format but retains the horrible CMOS reset jumper location.

OK with that done, it's certainly a splendid board as long as we do not reach the need to use the Clear CMOS jumper.
