Me digitizing an ancient (1983) cassette tape.
They'd call it "Mindfulness training" now.
At 11 years old, I was part of an experimental program that was to help children and adults with various issues. There were several parts of it, including neurofeedback, guided meditation and other techniques. This aspect, called "QR" - Quieting Reflex, was a set of visualization and breathing techniques. This is some of the exercised I'd learned. I was supposed to do these at home on my own, but I didn't use the tape more than a time or two after the sessions. But as they were easy, once I learned them, I used them many times through the years. I only realized within the past month or so that this is an example of mindfulness training.
I digitized it today, starting up an old Walkman into a 3.5mm to flash drive device I got, put it on the computer and I set it to a visualization thing.
