Try THIS Production Trick for Evolving Percussion Patterns
This trick will work in any DAW! Use the Rare Finds filter on Splice to find unique percussion sounds and drag them into the drum machine of your choice. Next, add a chord MIDI device (with 4 notes active) and arpeggiator afterward. Now trigger different notes on the drum machine and adjust the chord steps and arp parameters. Resample to taste!
