Steve Song discusses 'Rights to the Network: Community Networks and Access to Infrastructure'.
Steve Song is a part-time fellow at the Mozilla Foundation and a research associate at the Network Startup Resource Centre. He founded Village Telco, a social enterprise that manufactures low-cost Wifi mesh VoIP technologies. He’s also affiliated with the Association for Progressive Commmunications, and in the past he was a Shuttleworth Fellow. Steve’s work focuses on affordable access to communications infrastructure, and he has a great blog on those issues at manypossibilities.net – which I will also link to in the video description.
