Islamabad: Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) Islamabad known as National Savings Pakistan has revised the rates of National Savings Certificates and National Savings Accounts with effect from May 09, 2023. According to the press release issued by National Savings, profit rates of various schemes remained unchanged while profit rates of few schemes has been revised and increased with a little margin.
According to the notification, profit of Behbood Savings Certificates, Defense Savings Certificates, Regular Income Certificates, Pensioners Benefit Account, Shuhda Family Welfare Account remained unchanged.
According to the notification, Profit of Special Savings Certificates and Special Savings Account has been increased from 17.223 % to 17.940 %. Purchasers and holders of Special Savings Certificates and Special Savings Accounts may get Rs. 8600/- after six month against the investment of Rs. 1 lac.
According to notification, profit rates of Short Term Savings Certificates has been increased and new profit rates on 3 month STSC is at 20.84% , 6 months STSC 20.82% and 1 year STSC 20.80%.
