Islamabad: Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) Islamabad known as National Savings Pakistan has reduced the profit rates on its traditional National Savings Certificates and National Savings Account Schemes and Sharia Compliant Profit Sarwa Islamic Savings Account and Sarwa Islamic Term Accounts with effect from 07 August 2024. National Savings Pakistan has issued a press release in which they have shared national savings latest profit rates applicable with effect from August 7, 2024. According to the press release profit rates of Short Term Savings Certificates and Savings Account has been reduced from 1 to 1.5 percent while profit rates of Defense Savings Certificates, Behbood Savings Certificates, Pensioners Benefit Account, Shudha Family Welfare Account, Regular Income Certificates, Special Savings Certificates and Special Savings Account shall remain unchanged till any further revision.
According to press release detail of national savings center latest profit rates is given here below. National Savings Profit Rates Today of Short Term Savings Certificates (3-Months) is 19.00 %, (6-Months) 18.92 % and (1-Year) 17.90 %. New and current rate of national savings profit and loss savings account will be 19.00 %. New profit rates national savings will be applicable from 7 aug 2024. Meanwhile, profit of Sarwa Islamic Savings Account details are also given in this video. National Savings Profit Rates on 1 Lac has also been changed on sharia compliant schemes of National Savings (Rafa National Savings). Now profit rate of Sarwa Islamic Savings Account is 19.00 % while profit rates of Sarwa Islamic Term Account remain unchanged till further revision.
