This video step by step demonstrates how to root an android studio emulator. This video is practically demonstrated on Android Emulator with API 30.

Step-1 Start Your Android Emulator

Step-2 In browser go to the URL https://github.com/newbit1/rootAVD
Click the Code button and then Click "Download ZIP"

Step-3 Extract the Downloaded folder move to directory rootAVD-master using cd command in command prompt

Step-4 Run the command rootAVD.bat ListAllAVDs
you will get the list of many android versions, execute correct one for your emulator
It will shutdown your emulator automatically.

Step-5 From Android Studio, Device Manager Click Cold Boot Now

Step-6 In Command Prompt write adb shell and write su command, It will prompt on your Android Emulator - Super User Request

Step-7 Click on Grant within 10 seconds

You will get the root access on your android emulator.
