This is a video showing hooking a small mullet for bait for fishing. Mullet can be used to catch snook, redfish, grouper, they can be used free lined, or for bottom fishing. You may want to try near structure, or fish by a bridge, especially near by the shadow line. I Kendall Todd have done quite a bit of fishing by the bridge shadow line in fort pierce fl, I really like circle hooks, but may have used other type hooks before. I also like braid fishing line, and swivels, and leader line.
There may be different ways to hook mullet as well.
