In this video, I showed how to prevent automatic driver and BIOS updates in Windows 11 and Windows 10 computers. This is different from preventing automatic Windows updates.

With this solution, Windows will still download all other updates automatically, like system updates, security updates, cumulative updates, application updates. However, it will prevent Windows from automatically updating your drivers and BIOS files.

This solution could come in handy in a number of situations. For instance, if you discover some system or device malfunction after an update or you have a device or application that works well with older driver versions but not with the latest version, maybe the latest version is still unstable. Or for some reason you want to retain certain BIOS version to keep up with certain system functionalities, then this solution could be all you need. It is completely reversible, so if the purpose of preventing such automatic driver and BIOS update changes for you, then you can return and reverse the change.
