Lawrence Wang is a NYU Steinhardt graduate student studying Education and Social Policy at NYU Shanghai in our Go Local program, which accommodates international students amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
In her day in the life during the spring semester, Lawrence attends an in-person class, visits the campus cafeteria and library at the academic building, and logs in to an online class via Zoom at midnight local time. With hopes set on an in-person semester in the fall of 2021, Lawrence powers through the day despite the 12-hour time difference between New York and Shanghai.
