As you get older, you start to have all kinds of body problems. That’s why it’s so great that you don’t need to work when you’re a retiree – taking the right pills, vitamins and treatments can be something of a job in itself.
Okay, that might be exaggerating it a bit – but once you reach a certain age, you deserve plenty of free time to do whatever you want to.
But to do that, you need to be healthy and be able to smile and laugh at life, or you won’t appreciate the free time you have. As my grandma used to say, shared joy is double joy – and I definitely think she’s right about that.
