This is how you make sure your Joy-Cons are ALSO updated to the latest Joy-Con Firmware version released by Nintendo! Nintendo has released numerous Joy-Con Firmware updates to improve everything about their complex Joy-Con Controllers and their Pro Controller! This includes the common Nintendo Switch Disconnect Drift Issue.
1. Go to System Settings
2. Select "Controllers and Sensors"
3. Select "Update Controllers"
4. Wait for BOTH Joy-Con controllers to finish updating to the latest firmware
