Statistics on rape and sexual violence numbers are extremely high
Although there are various statistics on rape and sexual violence in the country, experts do agree that the numbers are extremely high and some cases remain unreported. However data from the South African Police Service shows that over 30 thousand cases were recorded between April 2016 and December of the same year. But what happens though after spending time in prison for this crime?In light of the 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children, Morning Live producer Nonzuzo Dlamini went to find out.
