In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, I went to Fort Myers, Florida searching for the missing Poor Sisters of St Clare, nuns from Church of Ascension, at the San Damiano Monastery on Estero Blvd in Fort Myers Beach. While there I witnessed the damage and destruction of Ian and spoke to many of the victims and survivors. These are their stories...
UPDATE: The Sisters of St Clare have been located and are safe at a home in Naples. Bless the wonderful folks that took them in and fed them. You can see the story on Fox News here:
