Unreal Engine 5 have some great features and very bad performance! compared with Unreal Engine 4.26, UE5 is very unoptimized.

UE5 have serious issues in frametime, performance, and even when disabled Lumen, Virtual Shadow and Super Resolution the editor are very lag is impossible!

For this benchmark, i used MODULAR HOUSES pack from marketplace, and create a new Bookmarks based in my cameras position.

My PC:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
MEMORY: 64GB Ram DDR4 3200mhz
SSD: WD Black SN750 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite DDR4 Socket AM4
WATER COOLER Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240mm ML240L V2 RGB
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 3gb
POWERSUPPLY: Gamemax 800w

I suggest to all: Use 4.26 instead if you need do renders for portfolio, use UE5 after you complete your scene.

If you have a RTX 3090: use UE5 at 40 fps!
