Numerical simulation of 3-point bending test with asymmetric loading for studying mixed mode of loading (Mode I and Mode II). Note the reaction force on each roller support is not symmetric (as expected). After some propagation the crack deviates from the initial crack plane making an angle aprox. 55 degrees
