I recently upgraded to an iphone 12 pro and went to delete an app, and I noticed some of the wording changed.
Before when you would delete an app, the app would delete and that would be the end of it, but the wording here in ios 14.4.1 read a little bit different
While the select was still Remove App, when I tapped it, the prompt then read
“Removing from Home Screen will keep the app in your App Library.”
Then I had to figure out where the app library was.
I found when you swipe all the way to the end of the apps is where you’ll see your App Library.
Sure enough, the app was still there.
In the end what I discovered I had to do is go to
1. Settings
2. Screen Time
3. Content Privacy and Restrictions
4. Itunes and App Store Purchases
5. Deleting Apps
6. Allow
