How to Install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) with GPT; RAID and LVM?
This is video guide, how
to install Ubuntu in BIOS
systems by using GPT instead of
MBR; and for best (I/O) performance
i will use RAID0 and LVM for
disk partitioning.
I will install in VMWare Workstation
Player. I will use 2-hard
disks which every hard disk's
size is 10 GB; total 20GB
for showing RAID0 and LVM usage
together.
The installation can
be made in real systems except
some differences.
for disk partitioning, will be
created 1MB partition for biosgrub
and rest of disk will be partitioned
for swap and file systems.
