Scooters in London meeting for Remembrance Sunday. Riding to the tune of 'In the city' from The Jam. In the city was the first single to be released from their debut album of the same name & was released in 1977. It was received with great reviews to the new fresh guitar sounds from Weller. Despite the great reception from the music press for the band the single only managed to peak a #40 in the UK charts. It would be another 3 years before the band had a UK chart #1
