Import PSD with Layers in After Effects
This tutorial teaches you how to import a PSD (Photoshop Document) into After Effects with all of it’s layers intact. This way you can manipulate the layers in After Effects instead of running back and forth to Photoshop. Here’s a quick recap:
Once you import the PSD a box will pop up. Under the “Import Kind:” dropdown, select Composition. Click OK. That’s about it!
