Gov. Tim Walz campaigned at the Minnesota State Fair on Sept. 1.
Like a lot of visitors to the fair, the Democratic vice presidential nominee went straight for the food and bought a pork chop at Peterson's Chicken N Chops. Given his new national status, he couldn’t freely roam the fairgrounds and passersby were largely kept at a distance. But while the immense security made his visit look a little different from year’s past, he did serve ice cream and mingle with people and workers already in the dairy building.
