This little ditty shows my current progress integrating my planet plugin with with open game engine project. I've got a ship model that I can fly around and shoot lasers. There are mines randomly generated around the planet that I can destroy, and there is a minimal HUD that shows the ship's speed and power for the laser.
I'm still just learning things and working them out. Still a ton of bugs like the mouse control for the ship is to twitchy and lots of things remain to be implemented like lighting for the spaceship and shadows and a million other things.
I recorded this from the debug build of the project so, I'm fairly pleased that I could max the allowed framerate for Fraps video capture
