Creating clickable prototypes helps team members and stakeholders gain a visceral feel for how an app or web site will function. In this video, we show how to use abstract wireframe diagrams as our raw material from which to craft a fast, cheap, and out of control prototype. In our case, we create a mobile web site with a bit of interactivity. The same concepts would apply to app development of any sort. The files displayed in this video are available in a repository on GitHub: https://github.com/foobarstein/protot...
Draw.io (also known as diagrams.net) is a fabulously simple [and open source] diagramming tool for making wireframe diagrams. InvisionApp Prototype, while proprietary software, has a free trial that allows for one free prototype. The two togerther make prototyping a [mostly] painless and beneficial process.
