The legendary singer Ashoketaru Bandyopadhyay was born in a Brahmo family of Santiniketan. Music based on spirituality was that brought fulfillment in his life. He was known for his rendition of his Brahmo Prayers. He was comfortable in singing a humorous Tagore song and a Brahmasangeet with equal ease. Today we shall listen to a popular Tagore song ‘Pinakete Laagey Tonkaar’ sung by him.
