HEXXON day 31 (GameJam deadline reached)
Please forgive the crappy capture quality and 30 fps. The actual game is pretty crisp and sharp at 60.
Final video of my first attempt at a game. All work done between Oct 1st and 31st. Used Gamemaker.
Shows a couple of run-throughs to highlight hit detection, a few gameplay systems, various player deaths (collision, fuel empty, no more lives), goes through the menu stuff, and presents the weird thing I ended up shoeing into the game just so I could tick "Do The Boss" off my to-do list.
