Total War Pharaoh has been out for some time now, and quite frankly I think it's a decent total war game and I've had a ton of fun. I've not had any of the negative experiences that other people have experienced, and I say to others: That the Bronze Age is not a 'boring time period' and picking a book up on the Bronze Age like you would pick up a book the Roman Empire, I think is the least one can do to get interested in this time period.
Am I saying that the game isn't completely flawless? Of course not. It has flaws, it has issues with AI and needs family trees, politics, marriages, etc. It needs Mesopotamia and Greece. Once that's added over 70% of the problems about Pharoah disappear. With more substantial updates to the game, I believe Pharaoh can become an even greater total war game. Its up to CA Sofia to say in the roadmap that they will add Mesopotamia/Greece.
But this is my opinion. If you have a different opinion than mine, fine by me. Let's debate, let's discuss. I will not be afraid to even answer the most difficult point of view I might disagree with. But you have the full right to come on here and debate. But give this game a chance. It's a decent total war game and quite frankly its not as bad as some make it out to be.
Gloating about a game's playerbase and launch however, does nothing to help this game.
I give this game a solid 7.5/10. It's as simple as that.
