PoE switches-injectors | Power and data over the same Ethernet cable
Transcript: Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables data and power to be transmitted over the same Ethernet cable. This is useful in applications where devices might be in difficult to reach areas, or power may not be readily available.
This new range of products from Phoenix Contact offers a comprehensive PoE portfolio of managed and unmanaged switches, as well as several new managed features in the firmware, including PoE WatchDog.
PoE WatchDog enables the switch to monitor a connected device in the field and cycle the power if there's an issue, effectively eliminating the need to send out a technician.
