2020 - 2022 Cadillac XT6 NO REMOTE KEY DETECTED - How To Start With Dead XT6 Key Fob Not Working
A video tutorial on how to start a 2020 - 2022 Cadillac XT6 with a remote key fob that has a dead battery or is otherwise not working and has a dash showing the message No Remote Key Detected.
If your remote key fob has a dead or bad battery or is otherwise broken, the DIC in your Cadillac XT6 may display NO REMOTE DETECTED or NO REMOTE KEY WAS DETECTED PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET THEN START YOUR VEHICLE. The REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY message may also be displayed at this time.
To start the Cadillac XT6 with No Remote Detected:
1. Place the remote key fob in the XT6's remote fob pocket- located in the cupholder.
2. Start the Cadillac XT6 as you normally would.
