There are a lot of games that aren't perfect, and some are just plain bad. I think it is important for us as designers to pick apart and analyze experiences in order to find successful elements within them. In the case of Rachel Foster, the lesson to be learned is in sound design. Though the story isn't great, and I will cover why during the video, I wanted to shed a little light on what this game got right.
