Apex Rathalos are an Apex Variant of Rathalos introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. Apex Rathalos are similar in appearance to the Dreadking Rathalos, though with more elements of a normal Rathalos than a Frenzied one, with a normal-ish skin tone and equal size. It has multiple red scars covering its body, like the other apexes do. the most notable feature is its neck which will glow a bright orange when it breathes fire or roars, signalling a massive burning flame deep within its throat.
