Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse is not to be taken lightly. Brandon Lowery describes how the Zombie Prepper movement is related to the preparation of likely natural disasters and how it could be used to help individuals survive in these situations.
Brandon is a nerd…and that’s not a bad thing. His passion lies in teaching Biology and Environmental Science at Lone Star College-Tomball, hoping to inspire his science students. He spends too much of his time reading science and news articles, dreaming of all the DIY projects he should do in the future, and on weekends, playing video games and teaching his son archery. Brandon is also a closet prepper. He has given talks at the Gulf Coast MENSA Society and been interviewed by MTV news about zombie survival. He runs a Tumblr blog dedicated to survival and zombies, writes for the online magazine, The Zombie-Guide Magazine, and is working on the second edition of his zombie survival book.
