I'm so happy to finally get some more 'personal' music out there. The last solo, personal release was Imagination's Precipice back in 2020! I've been loaded with projects and various other work since 2020, but I compiled a few songs I'm really proud of and have them out on this EP. :)
The track Stardust is about altered states of consciousness and the new perspectives they can offer, and a "connected to everything" kind of sensation.
The Whistler is a track I wrote inspired by the r/nosleep story "Something walks whistling past my house every night at 3am". I was extremely inspired by the story and the eerie dynamic it imposed.
Land of Angels is, effectively, a celebration track I wrote as my last semester of college was coming to a close. It was a long 5 years of growth, challenge, and exhaustion. The section with the triplet bagpipes at the end was also a HUGE part of the 'celebratory' vibe I was going for.
The Reformatory is about my trip to the Ohio State Reformatory, and the eerie feel everything had as I walked through it.
