There are situations where the path to the data source for a query built with Power Query in Excel needs to be adjusted based on certain conditions. It may be because you want the query to look into a different file or folder, or it also could be that you are working on a shared folder (with Dropbox, for example), and you need Power Query to adjust the path based on the user's name. There are several ways to solve these challenges. In this session, I will teach my preferred method.
