Helping to secure a city’s water source
An expert in water engineering, Shaun McConnaughey, is helping to execute Oklahoma’s largest municipal infrastructure project ever: a 100-mile pipeline to provide water to Oklahoma City.
The Atoka Pipeline pumps raw water from the Atoka Reservoir in southeast Oklahoma to the Stanley Draper Reservoir in Oklahoma City. The new pipeline will help meet the city’s water needs for the next 40 years.
