Ringarindo is a land surrounded on all sides by a huge wall. The wall nurtures, protects, and nourishes Ringarindo. The Wall is the foundation of everything, the Wall is a god, for it is only through its gifts, the Rakuho, that the inhabitants are able to summon huge robots called Brayheits. Each one's appearance is different, and its strength and abilities are directly related to the beliefs of the person controlling the robot. There is a constant struggle between the two nations that divide the continent: the Republic of Raekka, where valor and courage are at the forefront of values, and the Ryuto Supremacy, where intelligence rules.

One day, a Rakuho falls into the small village of Ejer on the outskirts of Ringarindo, carrying a man. He doesn't know who he is or how he got there, however he possesses Brayheit and is able to control it. The only thing he remembers about himself is that he came from beyond the Wall. Despite the fact that the villagers find the very existence of the world beyond the Wall absurd, the man does not despair and, taking the name Back Arrow after a battle with the bandit who attacked the village, goes beyond the Wall to find out the truth about himself.
