1971 Mercury 500 Powerhead Rebuild Part 1: Motor Disassembly for Powerhead Removal
It's finally time to bite the bullet and start tearing this old dog down for a much needed inspection and rebuild after a catastrophic reed valve failure. This will be the first of many parts as we figure out how to get my pride and joy back on the water again.
