What is Composition?
Composition is the arrangement of elements in a frame. It can be used to create a sense of balance, harmony, or tension. Layout is the overall structure of a scene. It can be used to create a sense of movement, rhythm, or focus.
There are many different composition and layout techniques that you can use to improve your videos. But according to me, these three are most important techniques for beginners:
The Rule of Thirds: This technique divides the frame into thirds, both horizontally and vertically. Important elements should be placed at the intersections of these lines.
Leading Lines: These are lines that lead the viewer's eye through the frame. They can be created by using natural lines, such as the horizon or a road, or by using artificial lines, such as the lines of a building or the frame of a door.
Symmetry: This technique creates a sense of balance and harmony by arranging elements in a symmetrical way.
If you're a beginner designer, photographer, or videographer, I recommend starting with these three techniques. Once you've mastered them, you can start experimenting with other techniques.
