Non finite verbs/ Infinites:

This class will teach you how to identify nonfinite verbs and their role in a sentence. They play a very important role in joining into simple sentence. You must learn them to transform into simple sentence. Let's watch and learn.

Remember that non finite verbs do not obey the subject-verb agreement. They remain unchanged with the change of tense, number and person. They are also called Infinite verbs.

Non-finite Verbs : 1A. Present participle = v + ing (acts as verb + adjective)
B. Past participle = v3 ( ,, )
C. Perfect participle = having + v3 ( ,, )
2. Gerund = v + ing (acts as verb + noun)
3. Infinitive = to + verb
4. Verbal noun = the + v-ing +of
