In the Kendo UI R1 2018 release, we’ve added a whole set of new features to help you build better apps faster and deliver an enhanced user experience. Join us here as the Kendo UI technical team demos the new features and improvements, including our new React implementations of our core data components.
Here's a quick look at what we will cover:
New React Components
Besides a new set of components, we’re also releasing a set of new React implementations of our core data components optimized for the React framework and without any external dependency. These include popular components for data display and manipulation, scheduling, layouts, and form elements.
New Angular Components and Features, Grid Accessibility and Updated Material Theme
We’ve added the three most highly requested components to our Angular library: TreeView, Window, Splitter. Our Grid received key enhancements aimed at enterprise and data-intensive applications and we’ve ensured that the Grid fully supports Section 508, WCAG 2.0, and WAI-ARIA standards. In addition to working great, we also help you to look great and we’ve released the updated Material theme for Angular.
New Vue Components
New in this release are data display components such as the Pivot Grid, scheduling components such as the Gantt Chart, Indicators such as the Progress Bar, layout components such as the Splitter and more.
Enhanced Data Operations
We’ve continued to enhance our support for OData by implementing the batch processing feature from the OData v4 spec with plans to add additional v4 support through service packs.
