Take a visual tour inside "The Last Bookstore", California’s largest used and new book and record store. The store began in 2005 in a downtown Los Angeles loft. The location is an old bank building with the high ceiling, huge marble pillars across the hall.
The owner is Josh Spencer took his decade of experience selling everything from cars to clothes online and focused instead on his first love: books. The price is very reasonable compared to most of the book outlets. They have a specific chamber for Rare Books on the first floor. You will find art galleries and unique gift shops on the second floor. Local artists rent spaces, making and selling arts. There are also amazing sculptures made from damaged books: a lit arced book built tunnel, a corner with books "flying" in mid-air, reminding you of Happy Porter's library...Every corner has gems hidden, waiting for you to discover.
The store has turned into a tourist attraction and vloggers destination. The bookshelves line the walls with artful displays of books abound.
