In this episode of 4MFS, we're shooting in broad daylight and modifying the harsh sun to give us a very natural-looking scene. That's right - we're leaving our lights behind and building frames that we're going to be walking with in tandem with our actors in this walk-and-talk scene. We talk about types of bounces and diffusions, how to rig a moving overhead frame, and set safety when it comes to heavy moving grip gear. DP/Host Kevin Reyes has a lot of tips when it comes to working around the sun, specifically about not "sandwiching" your actors with a bounce. How do you use blocking, diffusion, bounce, and negative fill to your advantage in these types of environments?
