When I said that Slash and DoT in Warframe were getting less relevant, I was SO WRONG!
In reality the last Update brought four new Mods called Riflt-, Shotgun-, Pistol- and Melee Elementalist. These mods massively increase damage output on damage over time effects and compensate for the increased enemy health.
