【Synopsis】The movie is based on the Battle of Pudong, the key battle of the Battle of Shanghai in May 1949. The protagonist of the play, General Xie Zhenhua, is a veteran of the Red Army who took part in the revolution in 1927. The film "Iron and Blood in Shanghai" is not only an aspect of the history of Shanghai's liberation by Chinese army, but also a glorious fragment of General Xie Zhenhua's revolutionary life. The film shows the exploits of Commander Xie, who personally led the 30th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to attack Fengxian, attack Chuansha and Gaoqiao, control Bailonggang, cut off the enemy's retreat from the sea and make a great contribution to the liberation of Shanghai.
