Islamabad: Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) Islamabad known as National Savings Pakistan has revised the rates of National Savings Certificates and National Savings Accounts with effect from October 10, 2023. According to the press release issued by National Savings, profit rates of various schemes remained unchanged while profit rates of few schemes has been revised and increased with a little margin.

According to the notification, profit of Defense Savings Certificates (DSCs) has been reduced 20 basis points. Now the investor who invest Rs. 100,000 in Defense Savings Certificates will be able to get Rs. 286000 profit on completion of 10 years. Profit of Behbood Savings Certificates, Pensioners Benefit Account and Shohda Family Welfare Account has also been reduced by Rs. 20/- and investor of said schemes will be able to get Rs. 1360 monthly profit on investment of Rs. 100000 in said schemes.

According to the notification, Profit of Special Savings Certificates and Special Savings Account has been reduced from 18.20 % to 18.00 %. Purchasers and holders of Special Savings Certificates and Special Savings Accounts may get Rs. 9000/- after six month against the investment of Rs. 1 lac.
