The question over which is the best Martial Art to practice, the strongest and most superior, has been asked for centuries. Now, with modern day mixed martial arts blending styles together, we have a clearer answer that there isn't a perfect one! However I do believe, that for a solid base, certain martial arts will be better than others when starting out in MMA.
