Tutorial on splitting a song into sections in Reaper - including dealing with Lead-ins
This tutorial discusses splitting a song into it's sections such as Intro, Verse, and Chorus and includes a song ("Shotgun" by George Ezra) with a lead-in before the chorus and how to maintain a steady pulse when editing songs with lead-ins. The main goal of this tutorial is to give an example of one of the tasks we do in Year 8 Music Media to gain familiarity with Editing in Reaper and also with learning about song form. This builds some key skills involved in creating mashups and remixes that keep a steady beat and have a logical musical structure with sections that follow the well established trend of having 4, 8, 12, or 16 bars.
